Yaya Toure's Future is set to be Cleared!

Tuesday, July 15, 2014

Yaya Toure, the Star of Manchester City for the season 2013/14 with 20 goals from 35 apps and the player who played a major role in making City be crowned as the Champions, has been in news for quite some time now.
Initially he said that Manchester City hasn't wished him on his Birthday. Then he complained, he couldn't get time to be with his brother who passed away recently. Then he said he wanted to be away from football action for a while. Then he said, he would like to leave City as he seems to be unhappy. Then some rumors were heard that PSG are interested in him. Now, his agent is saying that Real Madrid might lure him off.
So far, City has stated that they have never denied his request to go home and see his brother. On the other hand, no matter which team is interested, City would not sanction a sale unless Toure handed in an official transfer request. Right now, Manchester City are in United States for the second match of their summer tour, which will be played on 27 July. Manuel Pellegrini is expecting every player who has been away on World cup duty to be present at least 3 days before this match.
As of now, City are very intent that Toure will not leave and Pellegrini is keen to sort out this matter as soon as possible. So, once Yaya reaches America, he is expected to meet Pellegrini to discuss the root cause of his outbursts and will take a decision among, wanting to leave or will he seek an improved contract! If Yaya wishes to leave, Pellegrini is said to have his own plans of replacement!

Fan's view on ManCity's Season 2014-15!

Tuesday, July 8, 2014

Last season, Manchester City gave its fans, one of the best season's in Club history! Fans went on expecting a Treble and Manager Pellergini almost made it possible, with a Double! All super good.

Manchester City became champions and broke the dreams of Liverpool and Chelsea who were in the race till the last minute!

But this coming season, wont be that easy to City! On one hand, City's players like Yaya toure, Negredo, Navas, Nastasic and some more have some unknown unrest in them. With this, they cannot give their best and that will effect City, big time in the long run! Also, what if they leave? City will become weak in those particular positions and might also trigger the idea of leaving for other big stars, especially Aguero will lead that list! City cant afford that so soon.

Then, players like Aguero, Jovetic and Richards have been facing fitness issues. This will leave other players in a dilemma, which will effect the Morale of the team. Also, there might be a threat of Over Confidence too!! That might hurt us big time.

This is City's story. On the other hand, we have Liverpool signing Lallana, Lambert and Emre Can. Chelsea signed Diego Costa, Fabregas and T.Courtois. ManUnited signed Luke Shaw and Herrera. Arsenal hasn't signed any yet, but if they sign Alexis Sanchez, then they will grow strong too! Whereas City has not signed any big deal yet, except for Fernando, who is totally unaware of EPL!!

Also, Liverpool and Chelsea who have just lost the title will not make it easy this time. Arsenal, who were on top for many weeks last season will not go down easily this time too. United, who sank down will rise for sure. If there is anymore fight from Everton or Tottenham, then we might have to struggle for a mere top 4 spot!!

This is the current position of ManCity, which might improve at any level, but not sure though. As of now, it would be better if we fans lay low and keep trusting Pellirgini, until we start to perform well!

Once we do start winning, we can celebrate until the Sky turns Blue and Our rival faces turn Red! But till then, all we can do is to hope for better signings and better performances!!

Is Rekik, the next Young Talent ManCity might lose?

Thursday, July 3, 2014

Karim Rekik, 19 year old Dutch center back, who joined City in 2011 hasn’t made many appearances with Manchester City; but has proved his worth while on loans to Portsmouth, Blackburn and PSV! With PSV last season, he played 25 league matches and scored once, to let PSV finish in top four and gain a Europa league spot. This also led him to be selected into Louis van Gaal’s 30 men Netherlands Squad for WC 2014! But he was cut from the final 23 men.

Now, after such a success at PSV, the Dutch International is more likely to spend another season on loan with Marseille, who are arch rivals to PSV! Marseille are ready to pay €4 Millions for this young talent, if City are intended to sell him. Toulouse are also heard to be scouting on this young player!

But after the end of last season, Rekik has hinted, “My main aim is to play for City but I’ll only go back if I have a serious chance of game time.” But had recently put up a condition that he should play in at least 20 league matches for City in EPL this season. This request of him seems almost impossible due to the wealth of talent, City already has! So, this 19-year-old ever-growing young player might just stick to bench.

So, Rekik might choose to leave City, under the footsteps of fellow youngsters ‘Marcos lopes’ and ‘Ellis Plummer’ who set sail on loans to Lille and St Mirren respectively!

Is ‘Bruno Zuculini’, Quite a steal for Manchester City?

Manchester City are in plans of opening a new training and youth development complex, which could be a home for the finest young players in the world, with almost a budget of £100 million in an approximate 80-acre site adjacent to the Etihad Stadium. So, the signing of Bruno Zuculini will be a good move towards the strategy of signing the best young talent from around the globe!
Zuculini, who is just 21 years old now, has potential experience playing for the Argentine club right from an early age of 17, where he made almost 100 appearances and scored 11 goals! Despite being a defensive midfield player, Zuculini managed to score 4 goals from the 13 games this season and seems to have an eye for scoring more! Though he doesnt have European experience, he is a flourishing young talent in South America!
Bruno Zuculini
Zuculini who has an added advantage of holding an Italian passport, spares him the unrest of requiring a work permit and will be able to go straight into City’s starting lineup as soon as he walks in! He shouldnt be facing any issues in settling down sooner enough with the Premier League champions, having his fellow countrymen Zabaleta, Demichelis and Aguero already giving their best!
Also, at a transfer fee of around £1.5 million, Zuculini can be considered an appreciable accomplishment by City, especially when some of City’s recent signings have certainly suffered from inflated transfer fees.

Zuculini’s older brother, Franco, is also a professional footballer, who came through the ranks at Racing Club, making 38 appearances for them before being snapped up by 1899 Hoffenheim. Bruno is expected to follow in his brothers footsteps and may even make it to the Argentina squad soon.

Zuculini, who is in England today for his medical, might confirm his joining the Champions, soon!
Zuculini in UKHope he shines and rises to unattainable levels with Manchester City! Join us in wishing him all the luck for his career ahead with Manchester City!

Is Nastasic, the next big Italian target?

Saturday, June 28, 2014

Serbian youngster, Matija Nastasic, who was Roberto Mancini's favorite young signing in 2012 from Florentina, is in news now!!

For the year 2012-13, Nastasic made 21 Premier league appearences and has won the 'Manchester City Young Player of the Year' award in May 2013!! But the year 2013-14, turned out to be less successful where he could make only 13 league appearences, because of an injury. On the flip side, the good news is that he could score his Only Goal for ManCity this past year!

Now with Manuel Pellegrini eyeing Mangala from Porto, Nastasic's role as central defender is under question. The talk that Pellirgini wants to reshape the squad, left Nastasic almost open for grabs! The news about this 20 year young prospect has reached many Big clubs and Turkish giants Galatasaray, under Former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini, are keen to sign him up!

Mancini quoted, "I will have no hesitation in signing the Serbian if he became available."

Along with Galatasary, Napoli and Juventus, also seem to admire the young centre half and seem to be plotting to make a move in the summer. Juventus who couldn't sign him from Florentina, are keen to sign him up at least now. If this deal happens, Nastasic will join his ex teammate Carlos Tevez on the field for Italian Champions!

But as of now, Nastasic has his contract with manCity until 2017. So, if either of these big clubs want him and Nastasic decides to leave as well, City will look for some decent profit! But as a ManCity fan, would you like to see him go? My personal answer would be No! He is a very young prospect and he should be given some more time at ManCity, to show his worth! Isn't it?
